| How can I fight in this Role Play?
The way you fight in Hunter x Hunter RP is extremely simple. Kick. Punch. It's all in the might!

| What are Experience Points?Experience Points, or EXP, appears right under your Avatar. It will be used for a variety of things, but more than anything it is used for understanding how much Nen you have. In order to increase your Nen (energy), you must post [ HERE] and edit your signature on the total amount of Nen you have. Every 1000 Experience Points you harness, earns you +100 Nen. How do you earn experience? By being active and simply posting. Each day of your activity earns you 10 Experience points. Every person you make as your friend in the forums earns you a whooping 50 Experience points. Each post you make in the RP sections earn you 17 Experience points, while everywhere else earns you 1 Experience point.

| How do I use Nen?Everyone begins with 100/100 Nen Energy (the "Nen" basically). So edit in your Signature: "100 Nen" This energy is used for blocking, dodging and damaging. Depending on how much Nen you put into your ability determines its power. This means that, in order to dodge or resist a blow of 20, you must release 20 to either evade or defend. And your defense must relate to your Hatsu type. So if you're an Enhancer, you can use speed as a means to help you dodge or a Transmuter and use electricity to block. Energy attacks and defenses releasing above 99 Nen are considered enormously powerful and very taxing for most people. There's no set techniques or rules, simply perform what relates to your character's ability. If you wish to have a secondary Hatsu Type, you'll need a total experience points of 2000. Once you have enough, post [ HERE] and let us know what your secondary is, and how it can help your primary Hatsu type, edit it in your character sheet appropriately. With this setup, you don't have to know a lot about Nen to RP battle someone. Just know the difference between each Hatsu type.

| What happens if I lose?First, in order TO lose you had to have: wasted all of your Nen (0/100) or recieved enough fatal blows knocking you to 0. Fatal blows, if not defended against, double the force provided. So if your enemy hits you with 50 Nen, and you simply take it with no defense, the damage is now 100. But if you defended against it, you'll only lose 50 Nen. "To block an enemy's strike or dodge an enemy's strike, you must release equal to the strike itself." It will be your choice to die. No one can tell you your character is dead because they've beaten you. That's only for a Thread considered "[Death Enabled]" or "[DE]" D.E. Threads must say it is enabled in the topic before any posts are made. More than likely the fights must be agreed upon before the thread starts. When you reach Zero HP, you are dead in these sorts of threads. Otherwise, you are knocked out and have the OOC choice to die or not. If you're being hunted, and is captured for a bounty, you're pretty much considered dead. So Black List Targets are exempt of this natural benefit. | |
